Outdoor Recreation

The Outdoor Recreation Equipment Issue Facility is located in Building 445 on Flagler Street and has camping equipment with items such as tents and sleeping bags to pop-up campers and self contained trailers. You can even find trailers for moving! We have enclosed trailers, 16' open trailers, 5' x 8' open trailers and even a car hauler!
If you are having a party, let us help with jumping balloons for the kids, dunk tanks, and 10'x10' canopies for shade. If you need a place to have a party, we can help. The ACOE Lodge is available for $25.00 per day with a $50.00 refundable cleaning deposit.
For the hunter or recreational shooter, the Outdoor Rod and Gun has the ammunition, cleaning supplies, targets, and other accessories you may need. You can even find the firearm you may have been looking for. We also carry a very large selection of knives such as CRKT, Spyderco, Buck, as well as other brands.

Oryx Hunts for Iraq/Afghanistan Returnees
Once-in-a-lifetime oryx hunts are available through drawing a limited to resident applicants who are returning from service in Iraq or Afghanistan. Applicants must submit a copy of their orders or a DD-214 with their draw application by mail, fax or email before the application deadline.
NM Hunting licenses available for Bear, Barbary Sheep, Turkey and Cougar. All others are by draw or special hunt. Stop by or call for details on hunting seasons, the lottery system, prices or log on to http://wildlife.state.nm.us/.
Important Date - March 28, 2012 is the deadline to apply for oryx, deer, elk, pronghorn antelope, Barbary sheep, javelin, bighorn sheep draw licenses and all population management hunts. You must apply online before 5PM mountain time.
Travel Camp Sites: $10.00 per day, full hook up's - electrical, water & dump.
