Welcome to White Sands Missile Range!

We are glad that you are joining our community.
Child, Youth
& School Services offers many exciting clubs and activities. The youth at
White Sands have opportunities such as white water rafting on the Rio Grande,
rappelling on the majestic Organ Mountains, creating beautiful
works of art through our various clubs and programs, or becoming a vital
community service member in our Torch and Keystone Clubs. No
matter what you like to do, we have a program that you are sure to enjoy.
If you want to to learn more about the the White Sands community and Child, Youth & School (CYS) Services, the YOUth to YOUth program can help you. This program is open to youth in 1st-12th grades who are transitioning to the installation to learn about all the exciting opportunities awaiting them in the White Sands Community. Once you notify us of your impending arrival incoming youth will be provided a sponsor who will be of similar age and enjoys the same interests. Sponsors will contact the incoming youth before their arrival to White Sands and provide as much information as possible and arrange for a tour of our facilities upon arrival to White Sands Missile Range.
You are also invited to the monthly CYS Services Bash at the Alan A. Nord Youth Services Center (Bldg 1316) on the third Thursday of each month. The CYS Services Bash will introduce you to other White Sands youth. While you are at the CYS Services Bash, stop at the front desk and introduce yourself so one of our club members can give you a tour of the Youth Services Center including the CYS Services Technology Center, which includes a comprehensive homework lab designed to raise the academic proficiency of members by allowing them quiet homework time with a caring staff member to answer questions or help them, or to just have fun with our strategy challenges. Also check out the SKIESUnlimited program and see all the exciting classes we offer throughout the year.
